50 Cent Clowns Jussie Smollett After Actor Was Sentenced To Jail

50 Cent has jokes about actor Jussie Smollett, who was recently sentenced to 150 days in jail for faking a hate crime.

Last night (March 10), 50 shed light on the time behind bars the actor was handed over to a Cook County Courthouse courtroom on Thursday.

“WTF If this happens on POWER. he said he’s the new 2pac. LOL,” Fif wrote, including an image from a Court TV program, which showed Smollett leaving the courtroom.

The rapper-turned-TV executive also tweeted, “This jerk is crazy, I knew he was lying all along LOL ask @lala.”

This morning (March 11), Fif took to Twitter again and said, “If I ever go back to court, I don’t care if it’s for a parking ticket. I’ll say this: I AM NOT SUICIDAL, I AM INNOCENT , I COULD HAVE SAID I WAS GUILTY LONG AGO coming out.GreenLightGang @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi.”

50 initially showed his support for Jussie Smollett when news of the incident surfaced online in 2019, along with a host of other rappers, but later mocked the actor for lying.

According to CNN, Jussie Smollett, who rose to fame through her role in Fox’s Empire, has been in legal limbo since January 2019 when an alleged hate crime occurred in which he claimed he was attacked in Chicago near his apartment. However, it was later discovered that Smollett made false reports to the police after he paid the Olabinjo brothers and Abimbola Osundairo to stage the hate crime hoax against himself.

The actor was found guilty on five of the six disorderly conduct counts.

In addition to Jussie Smollett being sentenced to 150 days in jail, he was also ordered to pay more than $120,000 in restitution to the city of Chicago and fined $25,000. Smollett was also sentenced to 30 months of felony probation.

NBC Chicago reported Thursday that Judge James Linn, who delivered his decision yesterday, said the “extreme premeditation” of the attack was an “aggravating factor” in the case.

Linn said: “You have turned your life upside down. You have destroyed your life as you know it. There is nothing I can do to you today that comes close to the damage you have done to your own life. “

Smollett told reporters after the ruling that he was innocent and shouted that he was not suicidal.
